A Formula One-inspired Karting Festival! Get ready for a
weekend packed with high-speed thrills, delicious food,
fierce racing action, camping and a party under the stars.
Welcome to Kart-Fest! Get ready for an unforgettable Karting Festival experience right here at Brighton Karting. We’ve blended together all our favorite things – camping, delicious food, partying, and, of course, Karting! The concept is simple: a weekend packed with fun, with a hint of competition through Kart Racing.
So, how does it all come together, and what’s in store for you?
On Saturday, June 15th, all our guests are invited to arrive at the site and set up their tents anytime from 2pm onwards. Once you’re all settled, feel free to make yourself at home, enjoy the amenities, mingle with fellow drivers, and soak in the festival atmosphere. Our DRIVE-IN cafe will be buzzing with music, creating the perfect ambiance.
We’ll kick things off with four qualifying sessions on Saturday. The first session starts at 5pm, followed by sessions every 40 minutes thereafter. Simply pick the time slot that suits you best, but remember to arrive 40 minutes prior to the start time.
These qualifying sessions will determine your seeding into one of four groups: A, B, C, or D. You’ll have a full 30 minutes on the track to showcase your skills. We’ll only consider your fastest lap time from your session, so take your time and give it your all.
Once qualifying is done, it’s time to refuel! Dinner is included with your ticket, so simply make your selection at the time of booking. Trust us, the food is top-notch!
As the Karting action unfolds, we’ll keep the energy high with music and live commentary. The official party kicks off at 8 pm, with ‘The Stig’ taking over the decks until 11pm. Your entry ticket includes a soft drink, pint of beer, or bottle of cider from the bar.
After the festivities, it’s back to the tents. Please note that while we have toilets on site with sinks, there are no shower facilities available.
Now, onto Sunday!
Start your day with breakfast, also included with your ticket. Then, gear up for Race Day! You’ll have a 5-minute warm-up practice session to get into the groove.
Next, it’s time for grid qualification. You’ll have a 15-minute session within your seeded group from Saturday’s qualifying round. And finally, the grand finale – a thrilling 25-minute race at full throttle!
Throughout the day, enjoy live commentary as the sessions unfold. The top 3 drivers from each group will receive a trophy presentation.
But here’s the twist – we’re on the hunt for the Kart-Fest champion! The top 3 drivers from each final will qualify for the Kart Fest Grand Finale – a quick 12-minute sprint race to crown the 2024 Kart Fest Champ!
